Bracket Print Instructions and Ideas

Before reviewing the details of printing large brackets it's important to understand the format of the brackets. All of VTD's brackets are in HTML tables and are sizable. HTML tables are designed to change size according to the area available on the output (your screen or your printer). This is why it fills your screen regardless of the size and resolution of your monitor.

Printing works similar to your monitor's display. It will print to the full width of your printer. An example of this is if you print landscape VS portrait. Both methods will print the entire bracket within the boundaries of the page. This also applies to larger printers. If you print to a plotter, it will print to the full paper size (3 or 4 feet wide).

When you need Large versions of your bracket, we have used organizations like Kinko's but have had the best results when using local printing companies.

To have your local printing company print the bracket, you will need to forward them either the correct URL or the ability to locate your bracket from the tournament search page.

To get the appropriate URL

  2. Copy the top line of your browser labeled "Address"
  3. Paste it into an email and send it to your Printing Service
